Players for each match will be determined in a draft the night before play. Captains will select from the 8 eligible players on their team.

Matches will be played for 18 holes. The first day is a 2v2 select drive combined score, for 2 total matches. Day 2 is played as 4-ball in the morning and select drive low (75% hcp) in the afternoon for 4 matches. The final day is singles for 4 total matches.

Each match is worth one point, with matches ending in a draw worth ½ point to each side. The first team to reach 5 ½ points wins the French Lick Ryder Cup. If the matches end in a 5-5 draw, teams will go to a sudden death playoff.
